Hobbies

Well after being around my friend Christina and watching and helping her with shoots I really started to enjoy photography. She taught me quite a bit while I was there and still does. I had Howie get me camera so I could play around and I really do enjoy the editing part of the process. Getting pictures of kids, dogs, people is just to stressful! I can't imagine having someone paying you and for them wanting good pictures. I leave that to my friend :) Here are some of the latest things I have been playing around with that aren't my own kid. Always fun to practice on someone else for a change. :)
My next door neighbors....once again we were blessed with great people to live next door

My gorgeous friend who is 7 months and we had to work hard to get a baby bump for these!

Its the most wonderful time of the year.....

This years Christmas was great....Howie was home! I would have been happy in a paper box as long as Howie was there to share it with us. We had a great December, Yea-yea came to see us and freeze so we did some fun "Alaska" activities, to include going swimming in hot springs in -40 weather! We really had a great time doing these things because Howie and I have not been able to experience them yet so everyone got to have some fun.
Christmas Eve we had a dog sledding, appetizer, pajama and make a gingerbread train day with some friends. Then on Christmas morning we opened presents and were lazy all day until it was time to clean up for dinner. We had some friends come over for a Christmas dinner just to finish out the holiday season. Overall Christmas was a success and Kaysen enjoyed ripping paper off the presents.
Mom went home New Years eve and Howie and I went to a home here on base for a decade new years party. Bet you can't guess what decade we were! Over all this past year has been crazy with deployments, moving and leaving family and friends, but at least we had each other. Looking forward to 2012 giving us more time together and staying healthy and happy.
Merry Christmas from the Turners!

Kaysen loved this! He would even tell the dogs "ha,ha" Just like daddy did to make them go. Mind you its -23 while were out there.
