Blog HELP!

Okay so I tried to go back and edit some of my past post and when I did it re posted them but not in the order I had originally. Can anyone help me to put them back in order? Sorry for the confusion!!!

Oregon to Bellingham

After our first night in Oregon and Howie's spider bite was not getting better we decieded to drive to Seattle and stay the night so Howie, if needed could stay at the hospital. After a long day of me getting to drive we arrived in Seattle around 4 pm. Driving in downtown Seattle is hard enough, then add me and Howie's big truck, it was an experience. That day Howie went back to the doctor and Kaysen and the dogs and I hung out in the room. Howie got back later that night with more meds for his leg and some solution to clean it out. The next morning we went and explored downton Seattle. I was in love! The market was amazing with fresh flowers that smelled amazing, fresh fruit and anything else you could want. After spending the morning in Seattle we drove north to Bellingham to catch the ferry that would take us to Haines AK.

California Craziness

Howie arrived the morning of the 28th to Sulvang CA via driving and Kaysen and I arrived via air plane at noon. After a gorgeous drive through the mountains we arrived at Uncle Shaun's and Aunt Tracey's new house. Did I mention they were in the process of moving as well? Even with all of the moving chaos a great time was had and Kaysen enjoyed playing with all of his cousins. Grandma and Grandpa even made it down to join in all the craziness. We went apple picking one day and went to and EMU farm the next. Kaysen thought both were great, one he could eat and the other had birds that you could feed. He was a happy boy :) We left on Tuesday afternoon and decided to take hwy 1 up the coast to our next destination which was San Francisco. The drive was gorgeous with a mountain on one side and the ocean on the other. After a few hours it was dark and the next closest town was Monterrey (not close to our first planned stop of San Fran) The winding road and dark made us more than ready to get out since we had driven for 5 hours and hadn't made it very far. At 9:30pm we pull in to the only La Quinta that doesn't accept dogs and a screaming child in the back seat...needless to say were ready to go to bed. Once we sneak the dogs in and Kaysen screams for a good 40 min to go to bed, Howie informs he has a bite on his leg and needs to go to the doctor. I knew this couldn't be good since Howie will never go to the doctor, but since his leg was swollen, there was a red streak was traveling up his leg and he couldn't put any weight on it, he thought it best to go. Finally at 4 am Howie makes it back to the room only to have Kaysen wake up at 5:30! So since we were up early we hit the road with me driving. ( proof Howie didn't feel good, he always drives) Our plan was to make it to Cottage Grove Oregon which is about mid way through the state, but with Howie being so tired and not feeling well we made it Ashland Oregon for the night. Hoping a good nights rest Howie would be better and we would be on our way the next morning...
