Well once we got to Eielson we had no trouble getting into a house, however we did have to wait a few weeks before our stuff arrived. the AF has "loaner" furniture and man is it BAD! Our mattress had plastic on it and you could feel the springs poking you through your back. It was so bad that the people we met the week before we asked if we could spend the night at their house just to get a good nights rest! We did get our furniture finally and are in the process of putting things away. Kaysen enjoyed all the space and empty and cabinets with no furniture being in the house. I may have gone a little crazy with online shopping but I did buy Kaysen a fun tunnel maze he can use in the winter months and it folds up into a little bag. Howie and I enjoy playing in the fort I think more than he does! Here are some pics to of our first days here. I will post the house finished soon.

Hey Kendall! This is Mary, Howie's cousin (Dottie's daughter) from Connecticut. Hope you remember me from when we met in St. Augustine a few years ago! My mom got an email from Judy with your blog URL, so I'm stopping by for a visit! I've been blogging for a couple years now, so I couldn't wait to check out your site. Would love to connect via email...I can't imagine how crazy this big move of yours has been! My email is themommyologist(at)gmail(dot)com. Looking forward to following your posts on here!
