Snow, Pumpkin carving and Santa at the North Pole?

Yep, October has not only been time for friends but snow and pumpkin carving as well. Kaysen LOVES to go outside and eat the snow, he screams bloody murder when we even get close to the house. Howie and I are ready for him to learn how to shovel snow. Whats a good age? 2 years right? ;) Howie and I had fun pulling Kaysen around on the sled and using the small hills near our house. I'm pretty sure Howie and I were more into the sledding than Kaysen was!
We had our friends the Cahills over (the ones nice enough to let us stay with them while we were waiting for our stuff) and their little girl Kira. She and Kaysen are just a few months apart and its so much fun to see them play together. She is such a little momma and goes and gives Kaysen his cup and puts it to his mouth so he will drink. We did find out however that you don't put pumpkins outside because they will freeze and you really don't put them in a warm bath. They get mushy when you do this and no pumpkin carving will be had :) Were on the learning curve this first winter.
We also ventured out the North Pole (about 10 min down the road) to Santa's House. It was a little dissapointing, I really thought they would have more, but none the less Kaysen once again enjoyed getting our and playing in the snow.
I also realized that from here on out most all of Kaysen's pictures outside will look the same. Blue jacket and white snow!
He LOVES wearing his daddy's flight hat :)

He was very quiet, and we thought he was just hand feeding Ellie...

...but he was also helping himself to some food!

Howie showed him how you can blow on the dandelions and he loves them!

Boozer was really excited at the dog park ;)

You mean you can eat this white stuff?

Oh this is gooooood!
